Weather: Yes, Andalusien has always the best temperatures over the average year, no rain during the summer. Many people like this climate. Fortunately no drinking water problems, due to everyone's sparingly use of water. We have been here over Christmas and new Year. Honestly, in the early morning temperature drop down to 8°C, but during daytime you get easy 18°C  to  20°C for a sunbathe. As  well good condition for over winter stay.

Internet café: You will find a internet café at the new small shopping center at the roundabout in Puerto del Rey. Also in the Vera Playa hotel, they have 2 Terminals.

Protest at vera playa: As result of a protest in the last summer, as well as a signature action,( more than 3000 signatures) the defender of the Andalusian town Vera has decided to keep the "playa libre" like it was in 1979. Insider say, on the "playa libre" everyone can decide how to use the batch.

Beach life: Meanwhile you will find a beach bar at the "playa" unfortunately only open during the main season. A sail boat you will not see very often at Vera Playa, as alternative you have paddle boat and jet ski rent. 

Lunch simple: Walk on the beach pass the hotel Vera Playa left side, step over the ex. campground to the "Afrodita" bar. Nudism of course, menu of the day and good wine and beer. 200 m next to the "Afrodita" is a new Hotel in construction.

Dinner at Benito: Who don't know Benitos Bar/Restaurante had overslept Vera Playa. You can meet other people, have good value dinner, have cheap drinks and can talking over other people. You will find Benito left hand, facing the Vera Playa hotel, or were you can't find any empty chair after 8:00 pm. 

Lunch/Dinner elevated: In Turre "Casa Adelina", approx. 12 km from Parquevera, very good typical Spanish kitchen. Reservation, especially on Sunday is requested. Or, in Vera "Terraza Carmona" Reservation also requested.

Bullfight: At "Plaza de Toros" in Vera, you can watch a bullfight ones a month. There are many protesters against this kind of killing bulls, but  why shall we interfere with old Spanish  traditions, if you don't like, don't go to watch. We have seen one times, moreover bullfighter are not hero's !

Entertainment: Left and right along the street to the Vera playa hotel you will find restaurants and bars, a supermarket open until 21:00 pm, one souvenir shop, a disco at Vera playa hotel, open for the public. Unfortunately only open at hotel opening time. A second disco at Vera natura resort. All other entertainments like cinema, jeweler-shopping, show-bars, theatre, etc. in Garrucha or Vera.  

Fresh Bread: You can get every morning at the supermarket, outside from Vera Natura just 200m from " Parquevera"  open over the year from 9:00 am.

Weekly-market: Is on Friday  in Garrucha, on Saturday in Vera and Sunday in Villaricos (very small market). On very good value you will find, frutes and vegetables as well as other useful or useless stuff.

Rent a car from Rucar: The best way to hire cars is from the home travel agency, because of cheaper prices. Car hire in Spain is simple as well. The best company for one way rent is "Rucar", www.rucar.com  because of offices in Vera Paya hotel and Mojacar Playa.    

Golf: You will find 3 golf courses just around the corner. Cortijo Grande in Turre Tel. 950479176 (9 holes). Marina Golf in Mojacar Tel. 950133235 (18 holes). Desert Springs in Cuevas de Almanzora Tel. 950467104 (18 holes).

Bicycle drive: A bicycle road is ready from Vera Playa (Parquevera) to Villaricos, as well as very soon in direction Pueblo Laguna. So, ladies and gentleman's pedal away.
